And a cracking finish too. If Jimmy Mac or Wilf tucked one like that away, we’d be well chuffed.

I am delighted - and I am sure with a good run in our first team he will score lots of goals.

He just needs to speed things up when he gets the ball, that’s the one thing I noticed about the way he plays, reacts like it’s a slower game. Perhaps that’s because of how it is where he came from. But everything else is there. I think if he can get that sorted he’ll become a gem

Looking really forward to seeing him next season. Has all the assets to thrive in the Premier League and potentially save us £20-30m

Cost us £12m already and another £6m if we stay up for two seasons. I'm not getting on the lad's back, but he was not a cheap buy. Hopefully will get re opportunities next season.

I've been impressed with what I have seen. Hard to knock off the ball and shouldn't of had his goal disallowed against Chelsea. A lot of what we saw was him playing left wing remember .

That's a higher than the figures I've seen quoted, with most sources saying it was £9 million. Still not cheap, but no one is anymore so anything less than £10 million seems cheap these days. Bonkers really. The deal was made public by the selling club (perhaps due to local laws or rules). It was £9m down then £3m for every season we stay in the prem for the next 3 years (including last season), for a potential total £18m. Hopefully he’ll start hanging them in and this will be a bargain. Better value than Jordan Hugill surely?!
