Really interesting article on the success of the youth program of Belgium and how it has to do with older players in the year group (eg born in September October) being at a massive advantage and as a result talent being lost.

Some of this stuff should be looked at by the FA.

So blowing smoke up the & rse of young players early doors doesn’t achieve anything? Oh dear.

The Kiwis have a system in youth rugby where they match up sizes of boys in teams.

I remember playing against a refugee who was blatantly a few years older, no doubt to pick up as much education as possible which is understandable.
