Bexley Dave Can you hear the Brighton sing? I can't hear a ******* thing! "The most arrogant, obnoxious bunch of deluded little sun tanned, loafer wearing mummy's boys I've ever had the misfortune of having to listen to" (Burnley forum) |

In (far from stout) defence of the OP...say Roman completely turns the tap off at Chelski. Could they need the funds selling RLC could raise more?

Or, if he did turn the tap off, they could have no money for transfers and therefore need to utilise the players they already have. I'd like to see them purchase new midfielders which makes RLC superfluous to their requirements.
It's 106 miles to Chicago, we got a full tank of gas, half a pack of cigarettes, it's dark... and we're wearing sunglasses. |

If he turned the tap off I’m sure an even richer owner from China or the UAE would be waiting in the wings to take over at one of the world’s most glamourously located football clubs. Edited by Brentmiester_General (22 May 2018 11.10am)

he already has turned the tap off this happened ages ago which is why they are now struggling. it's not like when he first came in and was throwing money around you can't do that anymore. the likes of City exploited loopholes which have now allowed them to continue to spend big Chelsea in part did this but not on same scale so they have less resources. I think people forget even if richest man in world took over palace and was happy to blow all his wealth doesnt mean we can start spending hundreds of millions they stopped that.

Except for PSG, Real Madrid and Man City - they have different rules than everyone else.
