Trolley Dolly for one of the long haul airlines. I know a couple of people who did it for a few years and loved it, getting paid to stay in decent hotels all around the world. Doesn't pay that well and becomes boring after a while.

It's 106 miles to Chicago, we got a full tank of gas, half a pack of cigarettes, it's dark... and we're wearing sunglasses.

A lady friend of mine did this, she is a hairdresser and worked on the QE2 in her day and many other ships. Loved it and still loves to travel.

You can also try courier. Some of the big firms like UPS need folks to take all sorts of packages personally delivered and I don't mean drugs.

Ask a student I bet they will have some ideas.

Interestingly, kid I met at uni who's 'following the family trade' I.e. his brothers have gone on to work on and subsequently captain boats for the super rich. He now spend his time split between Miami/Bahamas/Carribean, and the Sheikh who owns it never even uses it! Practically lives on a super yacht and gets paid. Of course when the owner does use it your hands are tied, but its a very good way of life for those who want autonomy and travel
