How poetic was that. I’ve been one of his biggest critics this season but really pleased he had that moment today. I think Luka got the feeling from the crowd that it should go to Benteke. The whole stadium was singing his name willing him to score. Fair play to Christian he could have shyed away from that.. imagine if he missed! But no, he stood up and took it straight down the middle! Was really pleased for him. Luka handing him the ball, giving him th chance to redeem himself just felt right today. Obviously being 4-0 up helped but whatever

Great day, the penalty for christian was the icing on the cake, shows the great team spirit , and five different scorers, we were like barcelona at times, just passing it around,,,,but leading to goal after goal, onwards and upwards, well done roy!

Some of the armchair pundits on this board could learn a lesson from the vast majority in attendance today and the players. Despite being 4-0 up, I bet there was a ton of pressure on him to put that pen away. I love our club.
