After last weeks beyond useless ref I welcome mike dean with open arms , one thing is for sure if mike dean was the ref for last weeks game I think he’d of give a pen for that “wilf dive” all day long

Thank goodness for a grown-up ref. Question remains: why were we lumbered with that t*sser last week when there were so many experienced Prem refs available?

Presumably because they wanted to give him experience and as they have their heads up the a***s of the big clubs they were unaware of the underlying tensions between the 2 clubs and they considered it a nothing game.

How lovely for him. In the meantime, Wilf's reputation gets trashed and we lose a chance for three points. Hey-ho.
