I have just got in from a day out and watched the motd highlights. From my standpoint will we ever see a player greater than Wilf Zaha? I am 29 been supporting palace for 19 years so missed the glory years etc but it's not just the skill, trickery etc but the passion this guy shows for the club. The way he celebrates goals - particularly brighton ones - feels me with so much happiness. Maybe i am being silly but can't see another talismanic homegrown player like him coming along for a life time. Long live king Zaha

If you were a little nerdy and had the time on your hands to score someone on loyalty, match winning performance, technical skill, dribbles, other stuff, hair, tattoos and worth, then I think Wilf would fair well. Everyone has their favourite. Of the current team I love Luka who was just as responsible for today’s result if not arguably moreso. In days gone by Lombardo was immense. Always loved Clinton!!
So I manage a Workshop which provides a safe learning environment for blokes struggling with PTSD and other mental health issues. Being a Palace fan isn't listed yet. |

His reaction at the final whistle ... shouting “yes” at the HF ... ignoring Knockhart who was trying to shake his hand!!!
They say hard work never hurt anyone ... but why take a chance? |

Zaha without a doubt.

Tough call because I saw Wrighty in his pomp. He also had a knack of scoring important goals when we needed him. However he spoiled my love for him in the manner of his leaving and his over celebrations when he returned. So for me it is Zaha. However the players I loved the most were big Dave Swindlehurst and Mark Bright.

Think your missing the point a bit, Foss was using a combination of skill with love of the club. Sure Lombardo was a great player, but you can't say he loved Palace. Other greats (Samson, for example) couldn't wait to go to BIG club, not blaming them, just saying.

I've supported Palace over fifty years. Wilf is overall the best player we've had in that time.

In his position 100%, Wright, Lombardo and Sansom you would have to say have had better careers. In terms of club legend no one comes close to zaha.

In my lifetime, without a doubt, Johnny 'Budgie' Byrne. If keepers only then John Jackson.

As far as having an influence on the team i would say yes. The fact he is an academy product makes him even more special. He bleeds red and blue and thats why we love him so much. I think Sansom is the greatest, he went on to have a stellar career with Arsenal and England. Wilf is undoubtably the most loved player though
