Phew. 6 points clear. Shame Huddersfield won but given their last 4 games and goal difference we should be confident of finishing above them. Anyone reckon Brighton will go down? Their defending was shocking today on first half and they have the worst fixtures. We should get 2 more points than them. West Brom need to win all their games to go above us so they are toast. Anyone still think we'll go down?

Reckon we should be looking forward to next season, If Huddersfield stay up and Southampton go down then that must bode well for next season.

It is going to be difficult for Southampton to get over throwing that game away.

All in all a good weekend so far.

Anything's possible with the games still to play but that was a massive win for us today. One more win should be enough or three draws if you like.

If Wilf stays fit for the next 4 games no chance. Think we will get 7-9 points with him.

I will await the careful analysis from the boring old dullard from Hove, who got it all wrong again this week. He told me we are getting relegated again, the same as the previous 4 seasons!

Shame Huddersfield won, but now if we beat Watford next week (perfectly feasible) we go above them on GD!

I’d take losing three of them so long as we beat Stoke.

I can’t see us losing to Watford though!

We need one more win. It will mean Saints will have to win 3 of their last 5 and one of them is against City and Stoke having to win 4 of their last 5 and one of them is away at Liverpool

The one way to avoid the thread being ruined by that is not to engage. I don’t think you can complain about receiving his opinion if you post inviting his opinion.

Southampton fixtures may not look overly difficult but away at Leicester this week 3 days before the cup semi final at Wembley. Not easy. Then south coast Derby, Everton away and Swansea away 3 days later. Finishing with City at home.

Also worth nothing that if Stoke and Swansea are both below us going into the last game they play each other so only one could go above us, especially given stokes goal difference.

Swansea next 3 are City Away, Chelsea home and Bournemouth away. Tough.

Savage on the radio reckons Brighton and Huddersfield are safe but we are not ? Whilst they both have one more point than us their fixtures look far tougher.
