I know ‘we won’t get relegated because we lost to the top 6’
But we could/should have got something against all of them (except arsenal, who are the worst of them.
We seem to lack boll*cks and think that playing well and losing is fine. If we got what we could have done against these teams , we’d be miles away from trouble.
Our fans seem to think that losing is fine, ‘let’s not play wilf and save him for the winnable games’ , load of boll*ks, Tompkins missing today and playing a c*nt upfront and we still nearly got something.
Gutted we choked against spurs, United and now Liverpool at home and missed a last minute penalty against the’ will be champions ‘

I feel your sense of frustration but the good news today is that Brighton, Southampton, Huddersfield also all lost today.

When you don’t have a goal scorer it’s like playing every game with ten men

I think everyone shares the frustration and just plain disappointent from playing so well and haing a go against the big teams and just missing out again. You can't blame Roy. He has quite frankly worked magic. The problem is simply that we dont have a decent centre forward. If we did we wouldnt be in this situation.

Spend enough of the game defending your penalty area and the inevitable will happen. We’ve not been unlucky to lose these games IMO just not quite good enough.

Benteke tried hard today but his head’s gone in front of goal.

Many more " gallant defeats" will see us in the Championship next season.
As Roy said recently, no side is too good to go down and we need some wins in our favourable run in, starting at Bournemouth next week.

That's the truth of it.

Interesting finale with us playing Brighton at home and of course, in their last two games, they face Man U and Liverpool.

They seem to think they are safe but who knows!!

Their confidence took a bit of a knock yesterday and they're pretty nervous about Huddersfield away next week. I'd hope we can do enough to finish above them, but as you say, who knows.

I don't share the view that our next 6 games will prove any easier than our last 6 matches.

As for Bournemouth, I can only see them winning. They have only lost 1 of their last 7 Home games and averaged 2 goals a game in those 7 games.

I know you are praying we go down, as you have been predicting for months.

Nobody is saying the next 6 games will be easy, I doubt if Roy is, but West Brom, Southampton and Huddersfield are very poor and are not scoring. I cant see them picking up many more points.

We have played fairly well against the top teams and not quite got what we deserve. The difference is our next 6 opponents don't have the same quality players as the top 6.
