If the mods are not happy then feel free remove, I hold no grudge. A couple of years ago I posted on here about me moving to Slovakia for the Winter season after the death of my Girlfriend, I was pretty broken at the time & honestly had no clue what I was going to do short of just getting away. We are making the move to Slovakia permanent & plan on running our own ski/snowboard chalet. Were a little short of the full on 20% deposit for the mortgage so were asking for a little financial help, even a couple of pounds will go a long way & we would be super grateful for anything you can spare. To make it a bit more of a worthwhile investment anyone who can stump up £50 or more I'll take £80 off your first stay with us. (it will usually be £180, £100 for a weeks accommodation in the mountains I am sure you'll agree is a stupidly good deal) Please find the link below Thanks for your time. Edited by Ouzo Dan (20 Mar 2018 10.09pm) Hi all, I'm looking to go out for a few beers this weekend and am a little short of cash. If anyone could help me out at all, even a couple of pounds will go a long way & I would be super grateful for anything you can spare. To anyone who gives me over £100 I will buy a pint. Cheers

Thanks for the support Tom With respect Dan im not quite sure what you expected from such a request. My advise would be to try crowdfunding. You would however need to give away equity. Sounds fun and I do wish you the best Dan.

Were buying regardless & I expected a bit of stick for it but I've put up with worse. Posting certainly hasn't hurt anyone.

Cheers Tbf your post reads as if you haven't read Ouzo's final paragraph. When I read the penultimate paragraph I thought what a cheeky fvcker, he obviously knows he stands no hope on here so what's the joke or reference to something or someone else. It turns out it's a good deal and promotion for someone who may fancy that, something similar to that or just something different. But coat him off if you like. Good luck Dan. Get out of Croydon to somewhere with a bit of thrill. Unless you live to work in London central Croydon isn't nice.

I guess we have different views on what constitutes a good deal. Paying a stranger with my hard earned money who may or may not buy and open a ski lodge which i would never go to but if I did I would receive an £80 discount is not my idea of a good deal. As a property developer I fund my developments through a variety of methods, commercial, residential and bridging mortgages. These require financial forecasts and a track record. Neither supplied by Dan. Like I say, I wish Dan the very best of luck and I look forward to seeing how much you will be giving him Rudi.

Dan is a stranger to you but not to plenty on here. You're being an &rse. Being a good deal doesn't mean it's a good deal to every person on the planet and therefore not for me. Who are you to decide and demolish any agreements he may have with people on here? P.S - Nobody gives a xh1t about your business. This is about whether people who are familiar with Dan who's been on here a long time, fancy the offer. Good luck with your business but it's irrelevant. Good luck Dan. I know who you are. Property price is 150,000 euro for a 7 bed house in liptovsky mikulas. I'm looking to get 4 people to a room (6 rooms) at £180 per person. The winter season is 4 months long & will be marketed to British skiers & snowboarders. The hope is to fill the chalet for 8 months of the year. There is some fantastic carp & zander fishing to be had on liptovska Mara, hiking, climbing, mountain trikes, camping, wildlife, canoeing, rafting natural hot spas that bubble out the ground all over the place. Changeover day is on Saturdays, I would drop off/pickup guests from poprad airport (30 minutes drive) a quick stop at Tesco for guests to get a few essentials & then back to the chalet, I would then drive people into town of an evening. I have been visiting Slovakia for the past 15 years & my gf is a liptovsky mikulas resident. I know what I'm talking about.

Also cheers Rudi, I know it's a bit cheeky posting on here but if I can raise a bit of money anyway I can then it reduces the amount we need to borrow. That's my thinking behind it & certainly nothing sinister. Ive met plenty of people from here at meet ups too. Edited by Ouzo Dan (21 Mar 2018 12.24am)
