The commentator on TV said that Sorloth has a hamstring injury. When did that happen. and is it a bad one? Does anyone know about this?

Apparently a very minor one and should be back for Liverpool

Think I heard he was running in training, so not too bad.

Seemed to me more a fatigue-related twinge than anything subtantial. Understandable since he's come from the closed season and playing at a level and pace he's never played at before straight into that series of intense matches.

I thought Hodgson might rest Wan-Bissaka for the same reasons but he was excellent again yesterday.

Wan Bissaka is a quality player with lots of energy needed for the Premier. Sorloth was bought in case we got relegated and hasn't really taken his opportunities.

Hodgson said Soerloth was "everything we thought we were buying" and he buried a fine opportunity against Chelsea which the ref chalked off for an imaginary foul.

I don't see how you can write a player off in the circumstances I outlined. Give him a chance FFS.

Sorloth looks alright so far. A snip at £9million (is that right?) so even if he is a flop it isn't a disaster. Anyway, so far he seems a decent addition to the squad.

I agree a Championship quality player, who may improve.
