This came up yesterday on the radio and some so called expert said that cuts to policing and social services led to the failings. However I believe this abuse dates back 40 years so I don't see how you can blame austerity.

I am afraid that we still have not gotten to the bottom of this well and I expect more examples will come out from other towns and cities. I think that the police didn't care because these were problem girls. Add to that the ethnicity of the Perps and everybody decides to look the other way until now.

I'm not sure that there is a 'white community'. This country just isn't that Identitarian outside of the far left and a significant proportion of people from minority groups....mind you the far left is now the left mainstream.....The John Manns of the Labour party are nowhere to be seen.

You have to remember that much of the country still doesn't have to deal with any of these problems and is more than willing to listen to the brain-washed 'racism' finger pointing.

Working class communities definitely need to protect their vulnerable girls from criminals and rapists from this particular minority group that's for sure.....We aren't seeing a problem from any other group, who are just getting on with their lives.

Our Police and Politicians have completely let these communities down and I have gone from someone who respected the Police service...many times on Hol, to someone who now views it pretty negatively.

It is a tool that closes down free speech and is full of careerists who are afraid of 'racism' chants from the left.

It does seem to encapsulate much of the problem with a clear pattern emerging, as evidenced by numerous public reports. Authorities aware of the problem, problem at best deemed not important or at worst, blatantly ignored and those most vocal in raising concerns are effectively punished by their careers grinding to a halt.

But there is no solution. Essentially the culture of Identity politics which has sown the seeds for this to emerge is now so firmly ensconced in our systems of public Governance, along with a largely complainant mainstream media, that no change will occur within. Those who essentially over-see how we are governed are by default locked into the same culture as those they claim to investigate.

The white working class (as opposed to welfare class) community, and that is how we need to start thinking of ourselves need to start taking far more responsibilities for our actions. These grooming gangs get away with it because of those who proclaim themselves to be in authority. That authority no longer has any validity.

Yes, express our anger at those who abuse these girls but the ultimate blame, and towards whom our anger should be truly directed, are those who stand aside and let this carry on almost without censure until they are forced to deal with it.
