With a lot of us wanting a new keeper in the summer... Would be nice to splash some money at this position with heaton coming back into the squad could we capitalise on this and sign him? Been after a decent keeper since speroni.. i know he is ex clown but I do highly rate this young man! Thoughts?

I wouldn't think there's any chance of him leaving Burnley to come to us. However, they also have Tom Heaton who was quality last season before injury, who may not want to stay as back up.

Nick Pope has proved an inspired buy at £1.1 Mill from Charlton. He possesses terrific shot-stopping ability and I understand in training he is very hard to beat in small-sided games and shooting after training. Edited by Willo (11 Mar 2018 1.18pm)

Assuming Guiata is coming as number 1 then neither will come to us as backup. Last I heard Guiata was injured so there may be a need for good backup however I don't think that would persuade either to come . I think it will be Guiata plus 2 new players next season WH and Julian will both have left the club Edited by Palace in the Blood (13 Mar 2018 4.13pm)

Personally quite like Brentford keeper Daniel Bentley. Still quite young I think and i believe has bags of potential

I heard a few years ago that he had been good at saving penalties but I haven't seen him face one.Dean Smith signed him for Brentford from Southend for just over £1 Mill + add-ons.
