I'm definitely feeling more optimistic after the results today, even though Swansea won, they were not our biggest concern even though they have leapfrogged us. Both Stoke and Southampton have horrendous run ins which i think will see them both go down. West Brom are already down. We are having our tough games right now, but we have the best run in and if we get a few of our injured players back for our last 6 games i'm confident we will stay up on around 38 points

Willo's on his way as we speak! I agree with you tho'Mart. The season's not gonna depend on us beating ManUre, 'Poo or Chelski but the last 6 run-in is to our favour. Not over by a long way! Ollie's Dad,Ash.

In some ways this current sticky patch could work in our favour. When some of the injured players come back what we really need is the 'backs against the wall' spirit and the battling attitude that has become Palace's trademark in the past. Everyone thinks we're in trouble, let's just grit our teeth and kick 4rse and get out of it! Oh, and we seriously need to stuff Bright*n on the way as a thank you to the fans who've put up with some serious sh!t this season... again. #COYP #SLAP

Blind optimism is not helpful. I have not seen any of the optimists state that our team is better than the others.

As soon as we were promoted, relegation was inevitable. However, after relegation comes renewal and promotion. We may have to wait a few seasons, but ultimately we prevail. I maybe an ostrich, but I will worry about relegation when it is mathematically certain and not before! COPY!

Actually before 73 it was a bloody long time to the previous relegation. Eight timers will be expecting a telegram from the big lady quite soon. Can't think what was the least painful drop, and which was the grimmest ... prob '81, 74 was heartbreak, 98 was sh*te, 05 was nail biting but humiliated at Charlton, there's no good way to get relegated is there? On the run-in when we need to we'll play like Champions, but there are lessons to be learnt from this season, the window buys look more like prep for the champ bcos they are long term, but we need to do more building and less fire fighting as has been generally acknowledged, by Parrish himself when he referred to a laziness in buying proven talent expensively rather than spotting those on the rise.

We're in the s*** still die to all the dropped points against such teams.
