The more you look into this fight the more intriguing it gets. Wilder looks favourite to retain his title tonight and understandably so, 7th defence ,all opponents KO,d. How good these guys were, I don’t know ? Wilders style they say is ideal for fighting southpaws, Ortiz.
Flip side of the coin ,Ortiz has this ability to step out of danger with outrageously clever footwork. He also has a huge reach at 84 ,longer than Wilders, and possesses a lightning jab.

Bookies have it down as odds on Wilder , I’m not so sure it’s that clear cut.

Seriously think Ortiz can do a job on him, should be a great fight.

Wilder will win.
(and the bookies and promoters and Ortiz too, in a financial way)

pre-hype fight to make it sound like a close call.
It isn't

Comfortable win for wilder, I think.

I don't like Wilder so I'm hoping for an Ortiz victory.

I've even up predicting boxing matches after Eubank Jnr embarrassed me all ends up.

Mildly entertaining.

Wilder and Ortiz are both 5hlt at boxing

Joshua could take out anyone ATM, at that is not praise to the current heavyweight division

The fact you are on a yellow shows you for what you are. I bet you get a red soon,...but then what do I know ?

Exciting fight.

The real crime in this fight was finding out that all three judges had Wilder a round up going into the final round.

This wasn't a fight with fifty fifty rounds. Ortiz was clearly up by at least 2....which was what I had and others I know had 3.

Judging in high level boxing is so dirty......this area has needed reform for so many decades.

Another thing that pissed me off was the cheating in Wilder's corner coming out for round 8. The ref allowed them an extra 10 to 15 seconds over BS with no censor.

Yeah, Ortiz was blatantly ahead before the knockout. Not sure how the judges thought otherwise... Good fight though, great knockout punch by Wilder.

Spot on Stirling.

Those extra 10 seconds Wilder was given to recover could have made all the difference.

No one else apart from the judges I think had Wilder up.

Great fight though.

Wilder v AJ will be Huge!
