Kelly and Schlupp available for this one, no news from Roy on Sakho in his conference but hoping to announce Cavalieri soon so would expect him to be in the squad. No mention of Tomkins so assuming he is fine after the Spurs game. Hennessey Subs: EDIT: Fosu-Mensah not available!

Hennesey Proably have to play Sorloth on the wing, where I believe he can play, if not play a diamond shape with two up front, Townsend behind and Jairo holding.

Roy is a little predictable in his selections however given we are likely to struggle in this match I would at least try and put some width out there as well as load the midfield as follows: Hennessey (RB) AWB (RM) Townsend Sorloth Its time to drop Benteke I think.

I would agree with this although I can't see Benteke being dropped. So Sorloth on the bench. He's done his best in the midfield but Schlupp is more natural for that position. Sorloth to maybe come on later when we need to chase a goal. Bench:

Average white band at rightback? Might go over the heads of the youngsters. Good band though. Saw them at the Crystal Palace Bowl in 1980 on the same bill as Bob Marley, Joe Jackson and the Q Tips (before Paul Young left them to go solo).

Well, no matter how you arrange them, keeping this team in the PL with this squad is going to be a monumental task. I mean come on!! Kelly as starter? We were signalling on these forums a few months ago how poor Kelly was. If it's not Kelly it's Delaney or Jach, who hasn't been used at all. An extremely young player at right back (just 1 match in the PL). Riedewald as a starter. McArthur as a side midfielder or attacking midfielder (he does well, kuddos to him, but it's not his position, he won't create many chances for others from there). A striker who doesn't score. Another 22 year old striker coming from the Denmark league who hasn't yet had a single goal in the PL, forced to play as left wing or a left wingback coming from a lengthy absence. Hmmm...tough choice Without Zaha, the only PL quality player is Townsend. Kuddos to Hennessey for having a good period lately too. But if Zaha doesn't come back faster, this team goes down. And with Zaha out in the summer if this happens, it's the end of an era. It won't climb out of the Championship for years to come, until another Zaha is born and makes history. Look at Sunderland or Leeds, you don't just bounce right back in the PL.
