What exactly have they done for our Club? Have I missed something, we seem to be in a sadder place than we have been for years. Millions of pounds of Sky money spent but talk of relegation, where is there money what has it been used for,, all I can see are plans for a stadium which may get built, what if we go down??? As I see it they bought into something on a promise, and should have splashed the cash to make sure we don't go down, It's a bloody hard road back will they hang around if we go down? Money Walks!!

SP says they've put more money in for transfers, especially in the window we bought Luka, PVA etc.. Where the 50 million earmarked for the stadium went is anyone's guess though.

Some of their £50 mil, or whatever it is, buy in could've been part used for transfers and then when the tv money came in it was put back in the bank. I don't buy into the thought we're in the red.

Wake up guys. The £50M was to buy the shares so the shareholders got the money, not the company.

They put a big chunk away for the stadium plus I people are forgetting the club had to spend a fair bit on bringing the stadium up to regulations for tv/prem remember the moaning about millions being spent on the flood light changes. The problem with the Americans is they are investors only this was a poor desperate move from SP another mistake to add to his cv (if they had been proper owners you would of seen lot more presence in US and owners lining us up with more sponsorship deals)

I think Big Sam spent a lot of their money when we were struggling last January.

They led us to buy Benteke and Sakho, in my opinion.

since we have yet to pay for ground improvements I suspect the money has not yet been spent. by way of additional clarity, ring-fenced for a particular spend when the club has yet to incur that expense = money not yet spent. I may be wrong; but so may those making up stuff about the money being spunked on marquee signings

If you mean me, here is my logic (and I never once said they spunked anything): Parish was abundantly clear that the Americans drove the Benteke purchase and that he himself struggled with their thinking. (He didn't blame them, he merely reported the process and said it was a departure for him with where Palace had come from). Now, if he found 30m on a (at the time still-well-regarded) striker hard to fathom, why would he suddenly be leading the charge for a 25m defender with a questionable injury record? I think the Americans saw the difference Sakho made and thought 'yeah, let's have some of that'. It is purely speculative and my opinion (about Sakho, not Benteke - which I think was patently an Americans' signing). This said, I too believe they ring fenced investment for the stadium and that it's still there. I reckon it was a precondition of their involvement.

HOL is full of stuff made up by posters with little proof or foundation of truth. That doesn't stop them trying to convince people they know everything that goes on inside Palace.
