Surely the number of injuries we have received and continue to receive cannot be down to just bad luck, can it? Its just ridiculous what has happened to the squad this season. The worrying thing is there seems no stopping the continual increasing of the injury list. Is the squad being over trained? Is the conditioning program the players are on insufficient? Is Roys refusal to make a sub having a negative affect on the players. I would hazard a guess it has affected Cabaye. Still, why cant he last 90mins? If you watch him closely towards the last 25mins or so he is dead on his feet. Now to add salt to the wounds we have a player the medical staff feel is fit to play, refusing as he doesnt feel in the right condition. You can look at the situtaion from two sides. Is the player lacking some commitment/bravery or is it that the medical team just dont know what they are doing? Just rushing him back due to the injury crisis. Surely if you are owners of the club at the very least you would be asking questions of the management and medical teams, wouldnt you?

It could be down to the new training pitches or PL pitches that are woven with fake grass as well as real. There stiffer than normal pitches and not so forgiving, also modern boots and shin pads are so small and weak I’m not suprised. The rest is bad luck. Oh and pardew is at fault for selling the spine of our club of course. Murray, Gayle, jedinak.... pardew = relegation (C#n#)

Another one down, this time “serious cramp”. Something is not right with the physical management of our players imo.

Playing cup finals since October is why. Not making subs because the bench is weak, players only resting when injured, losing competitive edge once knackered at the end of a great run tbf to Roy.

Starting the season abysmally again is the reason. Survive, stop doing that and we'll be okay. Well we'll be better than chucking points away and starting at the bottom without a point or a goal.

Unusual for anybody to get cramp within the 90 minutes isn't it. I suspect there was more than cramp involved as Tomkins took a wild swing at the ball and missed meaning that his momentum and balance were all over the place. Hopefully I'm wrong though.

I agree with the opinions expressed here. Palace has the second worst record of injuries in the Premier League. Instead of buying more players money might have been better spent on a) preventing injuries in the first place, b) speeding recovery from injury. After all with no long term injuries we would have a far stronger team. Are the backroom staff using the latest techniques for speeding recovery from injury? The neuro-scientist Norman Doidge has reported on some amazing methods for helping overcome such injuries. Perhaps a fact-finding mission to the USA and the various Institutes of Sport might help Palace's physiotherapists and fitness trainers in the off season.

Looks like Cabaye, Tomkins, Kelly and Schlupp will be available for the Man Utd game with Ward and Wilf appearing in time for Chelsea!
Sakho should be back for Liverpool.
Let's just hope for ridiculous snow and all games cancelled for the next two weeks!!

As well as the injuries Fosu Mensah can't play against United because of the loan agreement.
Dear me - we are in some difficulty!
