Jon Moss!

So, it seems, you can make a guess as to whether a penalty was a penalty & even ask for help from the 4th official's video monitor & still pass "rigorous forensic review" by PGMOL. FFS, he was even recorded saying he didn't know but was giving it anyway!

Just because the call was proven as the right one does not justify the clear 'guesswork' involved in the decision making process - you're either certain or you don't give the decision.

Will this be five? It's gonna be five! It IS five!

The officials worked as a team and came up with the right answer.Nothing wrong in this at all.Even when they get it right, people still want to pillory them !

We'll turn them over - despite the referee.

The officials had no f***ing clue and guessed. They got away with it for the same reason as the captain calls it correctly when he wins the toss. But that doesn't mean they gave the right answer - as pointed out above, they weren't sure, so the right answer was not to give it.

I suppose if they guess they're bound to be right 50% of the time - which is about the number of important match-changing decisions they get right anyway.

Not the first time we've seen referees blatantly guessing and won't be the last.

Do you really believe that? You clearly haven't watched the video. Even asked Martin Atkinson if he could see on the TV. Ludicrous and ludicrous that he hasn't been sanctioned

the dignified don't even enter in the game

Still - when he gives us a soft penalty for
'Looking to pull someone's shirt at a corner'
before they've even kicked off he will be a hero and have made absolutely the right decision.

No they did not. It was a blatant dive from Harry Kane who should have gotten a suspension for in.

Another rule that applies to everyone except the so-called "top six".

Seriously? You cannot possibly justify his actions by virtue of the fact that the end result was correct. His own words were “I don’t know”.

Maybe he didn’t realise that the cameras were also recording sound but that shouldn’t be relevant- if you aren’t sure you can’t give it and he’d already admitted that he didn’t have a clue.

Just in case you haven’t seen what was said:

To be fair, the assistant referee was spot on in his analysis of the incident- it was Moss that had no clue and guessed.

He should not be getting away with such behaviour and not just because it was a high profile game.

No "Guesswork" at all - the officials conferred before coming to the correct decision.

Overall, Moss had a good game, allowing strong tackles but punishing ones that were dangerous. And he was right to book Dele Alli.

The officials had a good match.
