What has happened to the HF of late?, they seem very quiet and non productive during matches.

On sunday, there they were, carrying all of their flags and paraphernalia out to the stands, then ......nothing all match long...didn't start any songs and didn't join in with anyone elses....

Maybe another one of their protests - perhaps against the new £10 note?

Was bloody cold on Sunday. Perhaps they were too busy trying to keep warm.

I didn't notice a drop in noise from the HF. It does seem to be getting harder to get others to join in with them.

It's 106 miles to Chicago, we got a full tank of gas, half a pack of cigarettes, it's dark... and we're wearing sunglasses.

I think the problem with the HF is, and I preface this with the fact that I do appreciate what they’ve done for the atmosphere and the displays etc, they just take themselves too seriously. I think the dip in noise is because those behind them in block B and around that area are tired of the same old chants, and want a bit of humour and jovialness from time to time to get behind. When we go to football we want abit of a laugh now and again we don’t all dress all in black and think we’re hard as nails. Even their reluctance to get behind “Roy Hodgson’s red ‘n’ blue army” for abit and sticking to South London’s just grates abit. If the Hf lightened up I’m almost certain the noise would also go up with it, just look at the three little birds chant from last season as evidence. Just one mans opinion ofc but I know I’m not alone in this thinking.

Haven't noticed a change in atmosphere to be honest. Thought the second half was pretty loud.

Keep up the good work HF

Always tricky to get the crowd going when we keep conceding the first goal

Agree 100%. There's a definite Captain Mainwaring ness that emanates from their 'Capo de tutti capo' or whatever the hell they call him.

I respect their contribution in recent years, but tbh enjoyed the old days of the Away fans being close, and the banter, rather than all the 'whoa whoa whoa' songs and dirges. What's that Zombie Nation one they are doing got to with palace? All for a bit of a sing song, but that just seems weird mid match. Having said all that i'll never in a million years know why the old elongated "eaaaaagles" shout died off. Used to love that, specially when people were shouting it as a wall of noise. Bring that back i say...

I also appreciate what the HF do however I also get a little bored of the same old songs sung and in the same order.

I think the Ring leaders were all injured.
Another Parish error not signing “El Divo”.

It’s that time of the year where they’re thinking about GCSEs and what apprenticeship they’re going to do next year!
