Why is everybody complaining about the three signings? Usually everyone is banging on about signing young player who can improve. Now it has been done everyone wants a Sánchez. If you put a Sánchez in the Crystal Palace football team he would be turd.

A few reasons: We know we need a keeper and more than one striker. We have one of the latter and they're untested. We're 6 senior players out and have replaced each one with an unproven "Hot prospect": Dann and Sclupp --> Jach They may be 3 inspired signings, but interesting that the new guy at West Ham went straight in to the team and performed brilliant but Roy didn't even think Jack and Rakip deserved a bench place against West Ham... I think it is frustration more than anger. Our squad is still good enough to stay up, but the lack of depth is worrying and our last 2 performances have showed we've lost the ability to play exciting football. Newcastle is huge - 4 wins and we stay up. Could get one of those on Sunday. COYP.

I'm not complaining about the signings we made. I think they are the sort of signings we need for our longer-term strategy. I am complaining about he signings we didn't make - the ones that leave us with only four senior fit attacking players (Zaha, Townsend, Sřrloth and Benteke). Anything happens to any one of them and we are in the s***.

You're basing that statement on 2 games away from home, both London Derbies, one of which was against a top 6 team at their ground where they have an excellent record, and the other away at one of the form teams in the league. Not particularly representative IMO.
