Probably bollocks anyway but why would anyone think we'd consider selling first team players when we have no cover? No news on his injury yet as far as I can see.

Townsend is the one I think we'll sell to get ahead of dipping into the following season's budget that's partly happened because of the left back summer of 2016 and partly because either Parish has stopped anyone being sold, or just as likely nobody has offered for any of our pathetic bunch when it's not going so well. Ideally I'd rather it was in the summer but ideally isn't how these football matters sometimes go and apart from Zaha, Tomkins and Benteke I can't think who anyone wants right now who's worth much. Or we sell Benteke in the summer and buy some well researched strikers vs Benteke who is now just about good enough even if poor value.

With Sako hobbling off I really can't see us selling any forward players, especially not from the first XI, unless of course we get a silly offer like £30m.

Back to the summer, They sell Mahrez & replace him with Townsend, £27M was the offer in the summer. I would take it, promote Lokilo & buy a decent forward.

Dont think we can lose him. Not in this window. I know Andros divides opinion but I do think he does quietly contribute. Just like at Leicester is was his cross to Benteke last night. Just lacks that bit of pace.
