Thoughts on why we've been losing our targets to other bottom clubs? I was fine with/expecting Ulloa to go to Brighton as he once played there and is a bit s***e for us. But after seeing pards and wb end up with Sturridge, I was a bit livid. Perhaps this will be a good thing for us when he gets injured for them, but still shakin in my boots a bit without us sealing down a 2nd striker as of yet

Oh ye of little faith. If I've learned anything about Palace and SP and transfer Windows, nothing is what it seems. Who'd heard of Jarro Jach before last week? Best what you don't understand, best not start guessing.

We didn't 'lose' Sturridge - we were never in for him as both out Prem loan slots are filled.

So far this window we've signed 3 players (although we may have to wait for the GK) more than most teams so far in the prem.

Absolutely no evidence we've missed out on any target at all. You don't know who our targets were / are; I don't know who our targets were / are; no one on this site knows who our targets were / are; and, believe it or not, no one at Sky or the other media have any real idea who our targets were / are.

As others have said, you can't judge the merits of any window until 11.59 on deadline day. If we don't get at least one more player in (a striker) then I think this will have been a poor window but let's see when the dust has settled on Thursday morning.

If you look at the Sturridge stats since the start of the 2014 season you can see why we’re not going to risk. 100k a week on a player that spends 50% of the time injured and had only scored 17 league goals in 3 1/2 seasons. A money pit to be avoided...

Plus not out targets as both loan moves and I’m pretty sure we have used our allocation...

Agree with all, buttttt..... those teams are getting players that can help them avoid relegation, and so far we arent. I just Dont see Jach or Rakip being impact players this season

You haven’t seen them kick a ball yet.!!!!!
Liverpool spent £75 million on Dick Van Dyke and promptly lost to the two bottom teams from the Premier.
There’s no guarantee with any Transfer.
Especially signing a known sick note.

and not likely to any time in the near future. Not in squad for WH even with all the injuries. Makes the loan signing seem v strange

I saw that agreed strange.
Roy does not consider them ready at the moment, still with a couple of players returning ,we should be able to get a point or three.
