He was actually rather good for Cardiff a few seasons ago , he's got a helluva strike on him too.

I have not seen him play in the flesh for PALACE.

Is really that bad? Guess he must be if successive bosses never picked him.

Where did it go wrong for him?

Well Pardew considered him a 'baller'.

He's not a bad player, he's just not good enough for the PL. He would be a decent player to have if we got relegated.

Not sure he was any good to start with. Never broke sweat for the club....

None of us truly know what happens in a players personal life

Puncheon, benteke, Mutch, all could have lost someone and one could have depression issues, who knows

He hasn't become a bad player, just a player not worth £40k a week.
I expect he is quite happy.

I recall him coming on in his debut (think it was anyway) as a sub v Everton. The way he cam on was slow and unbelievably lacklustre. I mentioned to my mate that you would like to see a bit of eagerness from a multi-million pound debutant, or you better have Pirlo like ability. He clearly doesn't.

Not his fault we signed him (I mean who scouted him, he was pony at QPR) but he is out of his depth at this level. Still that doesn't excuse not looking like he gives a s*** when he has played despite his limited ability. Unlike Frazier Campbell similarly playing above his level but still gave it everything when called upon.

He was better than OK when he played with the U23s against Maidstone United last summer. Thought he might even get a look in this season ... but obviously not.

He should look pretty good against Maidstone though. So should most league players.

I know he isn’t considered good enough but I am surprised with our stretched squad he hasn’t been on the bench. Has he been injured?
We’ve been making up the numbers with our bench these days. Especially during the winter period and FA cup game, not a start but a sub, you would of thought he’d get at least a place on the bench over somebody like Wan-Bissaka.

Close the site down then.

Will you stop posting your player analysis first?

The fact Mutch was completely sh1t from day 1 suggests you're wrong.

Puncheon and Benteke suffered from no competition and Benteke had even worse service under Frank. Mutch hasn't provided any competition. May as well have him working as a steward or burger flipper to get some value out of him.

Just agree with whichever club wants to pay part of his wages that we'll pay the rest. Whether that sends a bad message I'm not sure but it also sends one we don't tolerate spare parts.
