With 2 Monday night games coming up I know it was the case that an adult could use a junior ticket without having to pay for an upgrade as it was a school night. I’m now getting conflicting messages from the Box Office, does anybody know if this facility has been withdrawn as I don’t want to turn up with a friend and have him refused entry.

Don't know what part of the ground you use, but the E2 turnstiles for Holmesdale Upper, we scan our own cards and nobody else even looks at them to see if they are adult or child, so nothing stopping it even if they have withdrawn it No idea about other sets of turnstiles though, some of those in the Main stand are very old fashioned

I've never heard or seen anything about that facility being withdrawn. Just go ...

I’ve spoken again to the Box Office and it’s definite you can no longer use a junior ticket at an evening game without paying for the upgrade.

My understanding is that my contract with Palace works both ways - They give me an opportunity to watch league action; I need to ensure that my seat is not left empty for a game. Should the game be an evening game - and they are getting later - I have had a choice, on a child ticket, of deferring bedtime or taking in an adult friend. Full terraces inspire our team, the Box Office needs to let extra adults (who could buy their own season tickets next year) to have match experiences. COYP

No one checks season ticket ages etc, just go and you'll be fine

Last time I had this issue I had to pay the difference, and as it was a bundle I actually also had to pay the difference on the first game where the ticket was actually used by a junior. So in fact was punished twice. Would make you think twice travelling for a game for 7hrs one way....... Originally posted by Epsomdownseagle
