Would someone mind telling me WTF Frank de Boer is doing sounding off about which clubs he thinks our players should join? None of his f***ing business. The bit about his being unlucky to get sacked for no other reason than that Wilf was injured was just hilarious. Totally delusional.

He's a very limited manager in that he can only coach a side with a certain type of player. He's totally out of the Johan Cruyff/Rinus Michaels Ajax/Barca school. His inability to adjust his tactics to the players available make him unhireable anywhere other than Ajax of Barca and he'd probably screw Barca up. We're well rid of him and have moved on to an infinitely more intelligent manager in Roy Hodgson.

He actually says he'd suit Liverpool and would be good enough for a big club in the future but now is not the right time. He needs to play every week. Still none of his business. Is he working now? I remember after the Swansea home game he walked towards the Holmesdale stand waving and a few fans waved back, with Frank unaware it was a cheerio wave.

In terms of what FDB actually said, this probably reflects the view of many.Zaha is good enough to have an impact at clubs bigger than us and we are very fortunate that at this present time he is with us. As for "None of his business" he might have been just responding to a question and in any event he is entitled to his opinion. Regards his employment, I have not seen any mention of him being in charge of any club so I suspect this is the case.

We were atrocious under him, except for the away game at Burnley, which ultimately cost him his job.
