I sit in the main stand and was amazed how much time Dyche spent moaning at the Fourth Official, and how every decision not in Burnley's favour was disputed. He did the same last season. No wonder he's called the Ginger Mourinho given all the complaining he does. I don't see the media making an issue of this but surely he 's bordering on a disrepute charge if he does this every match.

I favoured going for Dyche during the summer but, if that's the only way he knows how to set his teams up, I'm glad we didn't. Horrible 'lump it forward to two big men and hope for a lucky break' stuff.

You also have to remember we played them off the park last time we met and got nothing out of the game. We are a better team than them and our league position would reflect this were it not for the first 7 games.

We can't pretend the first 7 games didn't happen. One of the reasons we've done so well since that start is that we haven't had to play most of those 7 sides again.
It's often said that the table doesn't lie. That may be so, but it can certainly mislead when you consider what other teams each team has played and where. In our first 7 games, we played 3 of last year's top 4 away from home. The Premier League table is now starting to take shape as the 6 richest teams and the rest. I strongly beleive that the biggest influence on the order of the rest is the luck of the draw on how the fixtures fall. If you are lucky with the fixtures, you can build confidence, which can help when you have to play the top 6 and more importantly get results aginst the others in the also-ran league.

When you say most of those sides again, I presume you are excluding 5 out of the 7, ie Huddersfield, Swansea and of course Burnley and Southampton who we have just beaten and Citeh who we got a point off in the return fixtures. So its hardly most of them although I do take your point regarding when matches come in the season. Bring on Man U and Liverpool!

He moaned, waved his arms around and was constantly in Madely's ear.
Very unprofessional of the 4th official as it happens as he spent too long talking to him all through the game

So what happened to Brighton then, if that's the case? Plus that theory can't possibly explain our loss at home to Huddersfield on day one can it? You're not seriously suggesting that the fixture list is more important than the quality of the management and the squad are you?

Bexley Dave

Can you hear the Brighton sing? I can't hear a ******* thing!

Dyche has done well for his club, don't worry about him - focus all your energy on your own

When Roy retires he will be our next manager, trust me this is nailed on...

Absolutely correct.

Got the club promoted to the PL and when they suffered the sheer trauma of relegation, he got them promoted the following season. And thus far they have exceeded expectations this season.Hat's off to Dyche.

I agree. Before FDB he was my choice for manager and I would be happy to have him after Roy.
