Good stuff have to say I wasn't too impressed when he was announced but just look at what he has achieved so far. Hope the momentum keeps up.

I shared Brede's concern it would take a bit of time for Roy to get results and turn the corner, then we might run out of time. Seems not, as long we don't Wilf or Tekkers or there's cover available soon.

There are periods of matches or whole matches you get frustrated with 4-4-2 all the way but it's for the longer term and working, and of course it tends to change on 80 mins with Wilf pulling wide or some width added being the major change.

Interesting to hear how the atmosphere has improved. Sounds like the players were up for anything following the zippy departure of FdB.
Roy has clearly injected a positive flow into the players veins and what a difference it has made.

Brede certainly knows his stuff. Is he coaching elsewhere?

I think Roy has done a fantastic job since he came in.

I will admit I was uninspired by his appointment but he has proved me wrong and I am very glad to have been wrong.

He is probably very old school and I wonder if part of the problem with England was he struggled to get respect from what are probably some of the biggest ego's in football?

Palace are less 'starry' with the exception of Wilf and he is just a great talent who loves his football and the team and always strikes me as a decent young man so probably again has respect for Roy.

To get the team doing the simple things properly wasn't as simple as it sounds but getting the basics right has been massively important in the way the team has improved.

Some people think football is a matter of life and death. I don't like that attitude. I can assure them it is much more serious than that.

Terrible journalism. Almost as bad as Joel Wards defending ability.

Personally, I think the negativity of the comment got the response it deserved.
