I wanna take my daughter away for 1 week during Easter (1st week April)

I prefer an active holiday and good weather.

Am thinking Mexico, any good suggestions?

I would suggest San Jose, but I don't know the way. Do you know the way to San Jose?

Argentina - Norwegian Air flying from mid Feb to Buenos Aires direct from Gatwick - saw it recommended in the paper last weekend.

Good suggestion if you need to find some peace of mind!

For snow and scenary Slovenia is great. But for hot countries the two I have found to be the nicest - albeit I was working not a tourist - were Sri Lanka and Turkey.

Isn't Mexico a 12 hour flight? For one week?

Santorini is very nice. Went there last year. Beautiful place, quite unlike anywhere I had been before, great weather, great restaurants, wonderful beaches and lots of non-beach things to do.

This may be a silly question, but did you ask her what she likes to do? My daughter would immediately say go to a Dude Ranch in the US I would imagine. My sons would probably opt for Orlando. Swimming with Manatees is a wonderful thing by the way.

I went to Split, Croatia last summer, really lovely place, lots of islands (say long speed boat tours around the islands) as well as National Forest that you can drive to if you wanted to hire a car.

Other than that Rhodes is a lovely island, again, great weather and the old city is superb
