So May juggles her pack and as always a lot is told by who she removes and who stays.

All the major players were kept in their positions, despite the left...including the Tory left calling for Johnson's removal most loudly. He's been kept in the tent rather than being allowed to do his business outside of it.

I was glad to see Justine Greening go. She was on a SJW charge over there at education and I regard her and indeed May's embrace of that type of politics as highly damaging to the Tory part's chances of getting the whole of its base voting for them.

Any other thoughts on the reshuffle?

I think more can be learned by who she was told was staying.

Another shambles showing just how little power she actually has within her own party.

The reaction of the BBC and others has been a laugh. 'Shambles' bandied about just because someone resigned. Contrast this reshuffle with Corbyn having to hunt high and low for Labour MPs willing
to serve in his shadow cabinet.

I agree that she isn't in a strong position.....still a cabinet reshuffle a 'shambles'? That's a word normally reserved for something that has gone wrong. I'm happy Greening has gone.

If you mean The Daily Politics Andrew Neil is hardly on it any more which is a shame

Often in matter like this it is the style over substance that remains in peoples' minds. I bet that not many can remember the details of Mrs May's keynote speech at the party conference although everyone will remember the coughing fit and the backdrop falling down.

Likewise the remaining memory of the reshuffle is likely to be Jeremy Hunt's refusal to leave his position

That is a shame, he appears to be the only voice you could genuinely say wasn't to the left.....though he does a good job of attacking the right as well.

Newsnight has certainly gone to the dogs that's for sure.....stopped watching that after they advised people on how to cope with Trump's tweets......I mean...excuse me? They just make assumptions that everyone's a centralist and anti Trump.

I do have issues with him but I'm as anti BBC as I'm anti Trump.....Trump isn't charging me £150 a year for pretty poor content....and political content where apart from Neil everyone's either a lefty or a centralist.

That post Brexit or around it time....that's going to be very interesting. I can't for the life of me see her standing for the election.....that would be madness.

'Babyshambles'...that's a new one on me.

The saving grace is that all the time her party is in government it is saving us from the mother of all shambles, AKA Jeremy Corbyn's Labour Party.
