Being reported this morning that Leicester want to let him go, and are willing to do so accepting they will receive less than they paid for him. Would fit Parishes policy of signing players who will keep their value [Link]

There is probably a reason that he hardly figure in Leicester's plans, don't you think? Stay away please!

Puel says its because he is behind Vardy. Saw Iheanacho against us a few years back when we played away to City in the cup and he scored a few past us. Agree there are some concerns but I would think if Dembele from Celtic has been discussed then he is also worthy of discussion.

He is only 21 so can only improve. He has clearly got some ability when it comes to scoring goals but it would depend on what Leicester are prepared to let him go for.

Will take a massive fee plus he's on 115k at leicester. This is the sort of player to avoid.

Citeh have a buy-back clause don't they? If so, I don't think Leicester can do anything without their say so & the clause would no doubt follow him if he was sold on.
Will this be five? It's gonna be five! It IS five! |

I'd imagine the buy back clause is only if they choose to opt for it. Leicester might sell him for say £15m now city could or could not activate the buy back clause but if they don't he's anyone else's. If the buy back clause is a set price then they be paying a kings ransom for a player they let go 6 months ago. Alternatively they might get first offer on him. Considering the injuries they've got to their front man they might want him back. But if not then I'd have thought many teams would want to bid on him, was decent whenever I saw him play for city and was hugely surprised they let him go. Only question is why doesn't either team appear to want him??? Im sure the club could hire someone to investigate and get to the bottom of it, if all is legit then I'd still say he's got great potential and we should def try to sign him. Absolutely seems like a class player..

Looked decent enough in a stacked side. Speaks volumes that he's not getting any games at Leicester. Hopefully there are better ways for us to spend around £20 million and north of £5 million annual salary.
Well I think Simon's head is large; always involved in espionage. (Name that tune) |

He did look good with Silva, De Bruyne et al. laying it on a plate for him many times per match, but Leicester are quite similar to us in their approach to the game and he hasn't really done anything there. We really need someone that's going to chase lost causes, bully defenders, hold the ball up well and create their own chances. Not sure that's him, but could be wrong.

This is a piece on his playing style, and he obviously a player with great potential, but Hodgson is sure to want a striker who can hit the ground running, and Iheanaco looks like he has a Lot of learning to do. I don’t see this one as a runner (famous last words etc!)
