Team Spirit

I don't know what the hell Roy has done but the spirit in the last few games has just been phenomenal. We have all been guilty of picking on certain players and criticising their effort, lack of skill, lack of goals etc etc. Hopefully we are turning a corner now and maybe we should forget about our gripes with Benteke or Ward or Hennessey and just get behind whichever 11 Roy puts out including the ones who maybe could do better with a confidence boost. I have supported this team for almost 50 years and I love seeing Palace in the PL and hope we stay there for many seasons to come. Felt really proud watching the last few performances, Wilf probably is the best player we have ever had, Townsend working his socks off, Tomkins outstanding, Luka so much passion - I could go on. Also felt really proud of the support, particularly at away games - proper 12th man stuff! I feel so lucky that this is my team
Some people think football is a matter of life and death. I don't like that attitude. I can assure them it is much more serious than that. |

Excellent spirit to come away with points after being a goal down several times this season. Also great vocal support home and away. COYP
