Glad to be a part of the palace forum. I haven't see a post recently about Devante Cole of Fleetwood, great pedegree (Andy Cole's son), scored goals for Bradford and Fleetwood and plays like a young Ian wright! I rate him and he'd be great up front alongside Benteke with our amazing midfield feeding passes through middle or Wilf and Andros getting crosses in. What are your thoughts? Sorry if he's been mentioned before.

Do you expect him to be a regular first team player?
Who do you drop to play him?

Don't know much about him but i doubt he's Premiership level yet?

I saw a bit of kaikai at Cambridge and to me he stood out there, he has great balance and skill and although he maybe on the fringe I can't see a place in the first team for him. Devante has a proper eye for goal from in and around the and that is natural, like vardy, Kane etc I think he will take his chances and we need a poacher. Look at lingard at man utd. I'd rather take a chance in January on a future than another adebyhor!

Decent record for a 22 year old to be fair. Might be worth it as a 4th choice. I like young hungry players, hopefully he’s inherited his dads confidence.

A 1 in 4 goal career isn't to be sniffed at and Roy has proved he can bring the best out of young players and his pace and style is suited to palace, in my opinion. It will take foreign signings a while to settle in the premier league but the lower leagues in england have pace and a desire to prove themselves. Look at Huddersfield, Burnley, Bournemouth and dare I say....Brighton...cough,gag! In Roy I believe!

Not good enough. Seen him on tv a few times lately and his control is poor.

Fair enough, but it takes so long for players to settle in the premier league. We don't play like the usual premier teams, de Boer found that out and I think the fact that wilf, as good as he is for palace wouldn't settle at other clubs and I think he knows it now, look at bolasie! We need palace players and not big names who are looking for a short contract at stupid cost to the club. Have Greenwich got any talent coming through?lol we need a wrighty!

Not sure he is a good example he was playing well at Everton until he ruptured his ACL.

The only striker I can think of in the PL who was playing low-league at 22 is Jamie Vardy, and he was scoring 1 in 1 at that stage.

This guy is scoring 1 in 4. If he's 10 goals in 38 games at League 1, he's surely looking at something like played 38 scored 3/4 in the Prem.

Cue jibes about what Benteke is doing, but not for me.

I don't think an Ian Wright will ever happen again - even the League 2/Conference sides have good scouting set ups now. I can't see anyone going unnoticed.
