I haven't read bollocks like this in a very, very long time, but it might cause some merriment.

I'm completely the opposite: I'm old and male. The bit about being uncommunititive and cruel might be right though.

The average thread on here suggests 'uncommunicative and cruel' might be spot on But I haven't seen a thread on pear crumble in weeks...

I stopped doing these kind of polls a few years back. For the record, I'm 60, American, Male, divorced and registered in the Democratic Party. That's because here in New York if you're not a registered Democrat you can't vote in primaries where the winning candidate is usually chosen. In other states, I might be a registered Republican for the same reason. The only "typical" thing I find about the "average" Palace supporter is their loyal devotion to a club that has its ups and downs rather more frequently than the so-called "big clubs," both on and off the pitch. No poll can measure that.

I'm not female either, but I am obsessed with chicken teriyaki my favourite colour is mauve and I'm ruthless and unpredictable, and I vote once every five years. The only image thing about supporters is whether they're big club or local club supporters - then whether they're 'hard' supporters or normal human beings. As I grew up Palace fans tended to be called either Graham or Norman, speak through their noses in estuary accents about tactics like they were experts whilst pouring coffee from a flask resting on a tartan blanket, and when clubs like Arsenal or West Ham brought 10,000 nutters to Selhurst it was like a Viking invasion. These days we're a bit more hard core - but I have no wish to ape these tribal giants like some of our fans do, and am happy with being more in the Brentford, Fulham, Charlton mode of fan - I identify a bit with Adrian Durhham's description of us as stripey Nigels.

not typical here. I hate Fianna Fail, Fine Gael, Labour, Sinn Fein, and foreign parties like the DUP. Wish they would all jump off a cliff. Edited by PalazioVecchio (01 Jan 2018 4.24pm)
