It's Jon Moss (47) who was born in Sunderland but is now based at Horsforth in West Yorkshire.

His only other Palace match this season was the 0-3 home defeat to Hudd'field.

JM's most recent outing was December 23's 2-2 draw between Leicester and Man U.

Even if had not been Man City we are fooked. Don't play Wilf that day as Moss wouldn't give a free kick if someone broke Wilf's leg - remember Huddersfield at home!

And the Huddersfield fouling took Wilf out of the game for a month....

Moss' performance that day was a horror story. A Huddersfield player - already on a yellow - held Wilf back from breaking away clean. Moss waived play on, but the hold gave time for another Hudderfield player to catch up and take out Wilf from behind, which was the umpteenth time he'd been upended and it was the straw that broke Wilf's back.

Moss awarded a free kick for the second foul but never went back and sent off the first offender. Arguably both Hudderfield players should have been dismissed in that sequence - one for a second yellow and one for a DOGSO.

For the record, I don't think Moss is crooked; he's just a very poor referee who is so out of shape that he's never up with the play and will struggle to make decisions while sucking wind into his busted lungs.

We don't do possession; we do defense and attack. Everything else is just wa**ing with a football.

With all the fixtures in a short period, we should take the opportunity to give Wilf a game off as Moss is the ref. Huddersfield game he gave no protection whatsoever. We can't afford to have Wilf injured again.

That's playing against twelve men.

TBF I don't think City will kick Wilf off the park: they don't need to, they're too good. But it is true that he will deceive their defenders into a few mistakes which Moss will let go.

At least the big lazy turd will spend most of the game in one half to save on his own lack of mobility seeing as City enjoy spells of 70% plus in most of their games.

I think we'd struggle to get a draw against Man City, if Jim Cannon was the referee, and Steve Coppell was lino.
