the bookies have him as favourite for the next run in the Swansea hot seat.

A decent chance he'll make a much better fist of it there than he did at Palace, where he must have learned a lot of hard truths. But obviously very helpful if he falls flat on his face again.

I think looking at their last 5 managers, Swansea appointed someone with no previous PL experience.
At least if they appoint De Boer they will have someone who has managed on the PL - for 4 games !!!!

I actually think he'd do quite well at Swansea. They've played with a more continental style not that long ago, so would be easier to get them playing to his style, rather than trying to radically change ours.

Whether his style suits them or he knows what to do with them will make little difference unless he stops being an arsehole.

Denis Berkammp has just been sacked by Ajax, so could see him on the list shortly as well.

Assume they'll give Parish a call for a character reference?

Tony Pulis: Ex-Baggies boss not new Swansea manager frontrunner - [Link]

Not interested in Pulis apparently. Candidates said to be van Gaal, Karanka, Koeman and Bilic.

Why anyone would get de Boer in when Pulis was available given the mess they're in beats me.

I watched the game against Excelsior the other night and thought they looked great.

Its nice Alan Curbishley still gets quoted in the bookies odds. He hasn't been near a managers job for years, but still gets a mention.

Leon Britton will be in charge on Saturday. After that I really don't care.

Why would any EPL club go near that fraud now?
