NO!! Works in Spain, some start as late as nine.
Spanish normally go out for night on the town around 10-11 at night, so works for them.
Not UK though. All day to drink before game starts - then spilling into pubs after.
And then transport getting home for away fans would be madness.

Absolutely not.
3pm Saturday.
Can't get a train home for evening games, so have to drive.

Tv companies dictating again isn't it.
Personally I think there are too many different ko times as it is.
Friday night football creeping in, lunchtime , 3pm and tea time Saturday. Umpteen various slots on a Sunday and Monday night games. It's over kill.

Not very family friendly is it at that time of night if it's a game parents want to take kids to. Potential disorder with people drinking for at least 8 hours before the start of games. Must cause real problems in some households. Before long I.can see there being enough various slots spread out that every game will be on t.v.

Just to add that it takes away the excitement a bit for me. I like it when all the games are played at the same time and you are keeping track of the other scores to see where that puts your team in the table. The slow drip drip of results ruins it

Massive no from me. I travel up from Medway and whilst the journey isn't horrendous, the later the game finishes the longer it takes.

Imagine the poor away fans (ours included) - missing options for last trains home etc.

As long as they're Football league games, evenly split between the three leagues. They have more games, and could probably benefit from the TV money.

But the premier league, already has enough games on TV that are undermining going to a match.

With 12.30 kick off, 5.30 pm kick offs, and then the three Sunday kick offs, along with midweek games, its just about Television money.

All games, 3pm kick off. With televised games being available with an 45 minute delay.

Listen, it’s for the yanks so they can catch At least one premiership game on a weekend at a normal time for them

The money palace get is mostly from that market. This is the price we pay for being able to offer Zaha top wages to be able to keep him

With that in mind in for it

Plus anyway. Adds to sat evenings entertainment eh if you have got much on

Coming from the other side of Oxford, trains are a much better option than driving.

Except that that option is scarcely open to me with a final whistle at nearly ten o'clock.

Never mind, it is the Arse, so that's a nailed on victory!

Go to all the away games, and am broadly in favour. The real pain are the Friday night and Monday night away games. Saturday night is no big deal as its not like anything else is happening then.

Can understand it is a pain for those who use trains to get to games though.

Football is a world market.
So to keep the Premiership in the shop window and readily accessible to a worldwide audience matches will in the future have to be played 7 days a week including evenings.

Saturday evenings 19:45 coming up in this round of packages being offered. I bet Sunday evenings 19:45 in the next set (that would be a sh*t time to get home from as an away supporter of any distance)!

Packages have been split up into smaller lots as their are more bidders wanting to entering the market. Sky & BT are going to join forces and allow each others customers to watch so they keep the competition out!

This means there will not be such a huge rise in bidding for the new packages as the Premiership hoped for but interesting to see what BT & Sky charge us for showing what they buy? They won't be such fierce rivals!
