Here's the lastest reply from the FSF, should anyone be interested Dear all Thank you all again for getting in touch with your experiences at the above fixture. I've compiled your emails into the attached report. As you may recall, my initial intention was to submit this report, together with a summary, to Sussex Police and BHAFC and ask for a meeting to discuss the policing operation and seek assurances that "learnings" had been taken from it. Sussex Police have already indicated that they'd be happy to attend such a meeting. However, once I started properly going through your accounts it became clear that some of you had raised some potentially very serious issues that could possibly require a different course of action. I therefore asked a solicitor who specialises in actions against the police to read the report and let me have his views on options open to you. He's done so and early indications are that some of you have grounds to make formal complaints to Sussex Police, should you so wish. I do though need to get more detail about this so I'm afraid I'm going to have to ask you to bear with me. I very much hope to speak to the solicitor this side of Christmas although our respective commitments aren't making that easy! Once I've done so, I'll be back in touch setting out possible courses of actions that may be taken by you individually or collectively. Of course I'll do nothing further with the report without your consent. On another note, I work with some academics who specialise in crowd/football policing. They have asked me for a copy of the report which will be very useful in their work and research. If you've any objection to me sending your account to them, please let me know. They will be submitted anonymously. Finally, you may be interested in this recording of a live meeting between the Sussex Police & Crime Commissioner, the Chief Constable of Sussex Police and his colleagues. At the start of the meeting they discuss the policing of the fixture, the saga around the reports of knives and knuckle dusters and the forthcoming FA Cup fixture at the Amex. I noted with great interest the Chief Constable saying how they'd "put this game behind them". Apologies this is taking some time. If you've any questions, please do let me know.

thanks for putting up that little report. it's a good thing they do. a few things... 1. if the palace stewards could categorically say they were HF, then by definition they must recognise them. (bet they couldn't). they are not HF by their garb. 2. only those who rushed the gates can know if they did/didn't have tickets. (not that I don't suspect the HF myself of being the gate rushers -- just observing)
