Now we have picked up I am guessing it will make any January signing easier as we have a bit more to offer. Assuming we are going to get a striker and a keeper who are you backing to sign?

I think we will get one new striker and sort out a few expiring contracts.

Striker is needed but I'd like two.

I don't think we'll get a new keeper in Jan.

I wonder if that's a medium term priority with Cabaye and Jimmy's contracts up in June and both unable to complete 90 mins every week.

Cabaye paces himself nicely to expire exactly at the final whistle. McArthur and Bakary Sako are great when they come on in the last 20 minutes or so with fresh legs because they can then concentrate 70 minutes of effort into 20 which is what you want from an impact sub. Hodgson has all this worked out nicely now.

Still need 1 in the near future who can last 90 mins. We've been talking about how crucial next summer will be. This is another position to be addressed to add to the others.
