I think this is better understood as: When we lose there is no end to the comments but when we win there is silence. Not really true but I get the drift ..

I'm speechless! (D'oh! I've proven the OP's point)
Palace since 19 August 1972. Palace 1 (Tony Taylor) Liverpool 1 (Emlyn Hughes) |

Ah, right. I was reading "nothing" as the direct object of "win", when really it should be "When we lose, no end of comment; when we win, nothing". Does seem quite quiet in these parts compared with the days when we were watching the toilet Frank de Boer was producing whilst pardewing all the players behind the scenes. Quite a few of us had plenty to say then! Whereas the only valid comments after Saturday were a) Get the f*** in!

It's probably fair to comment that, rightly or wrongly, we all more feel the need to analyse, discuss, engage, share and vent when things are not feeling so rosy. It's perversely cathartic and after all, therapy. And we are human. Without getting ahead of ourselves, it's currently feeling more encouraging and therefore without being consumed by negative energy and anxiety, the majority of us probably feel more at ease with the world and relaxed in the moment - therefore feeling less compelled to dive on here in search for the meaning of life. It's a funny old game.

Yes, and so we have to find something else to s***e ourselves over, don't we? Hence all the Wilf / Tekers leaving posts, squad depth, no money to spend in the window, Swansea / West Brom / Toon / Seaweed etc will turn out not to be s***e after all etc. etc. etc. This is Palace so the next dose of s*** must be just around the corner

Seven League matches to end of January - 21 points and still in FA Cup is maximum. Based on current form and Roy's preparation of the squad this could happen. Realistic points total would be 15-18, which should do us, with a trip to Wembley still on the cards. COYP

If it's a case of coming on here to make statements of the bleedin obvious then sure. We often see posts created to discuss contentious issues from a game, but against Leicester there were none. Most of us are out celebrating but the OP wants to complain about silence. Isn't there usually six posts from Palace Passion or someone still in sixth form who gets every topic posted first and it's utterly tiresome? (Apologies if it's not you PP - I haven't researched it).

So I manage a Workshop which provides a safe learning environment for blokes struggling with PTSD and other mental health issues. Being a Palace fan isn't listed yet. |

Maybe silence is a way to not put bad vibes on our present performances.
