(And this is about FOOTBALL) None of us who were there will ever forget our epic fightback in the last ten minutes against Liverpool in 2014. Or Sako's last-minute winner against Stoke, or McArthur's last night (and it could/should have happened against Bournemouth). Or many others I'm sure Palace supporters can recall. All wonderful. But does anyone agree that it would be so nice, for a change, to take the lead in the first twenty minutes and finish up comfortably winning by a couple of goals? Hull and - I think - Stoke last season were home wins when we never looked in danger, but such games have been few and far between for several years. The commentator on Radio London last night said that we have conceded the first goal in thirteen - or was it fourteen - of our matches this season.

It's a genuine problem for my heart at the moment. Luckily being in my twenties and (touch wood) healthy I can cope right now but I hope they don't keep me on edge like this for the next 40 years! It's a massive high when we do something like Tuesday night but I liken it to the differences in true happiness and being high because of a drug or alcohol. It was absolute torture watching that the other night, I couldn't sit still, I wouldn't of been able to hold a conversation or have a drink, when Sako scored all I could was scream at them for celebrating when we needed a win rather than celebrate with them. When McCarthur scored it was an immediate high followed by another 4 minutes of high anxiety. Great feeling at the end but not the way to really enjoy a football match. a 4-0, for example, when your team is playing great football, you get to see a host of different goals, tricks and movement, plus you can have a beer with your mates, a dance with the fans and go home/pub happy and relaxed rather than feeling like you immediately need 15 hours sleep is the way for me.

comeback win. all day long. I remember when Wright was coming through and he earned us several. They are so psychologically uplifting. they say: this team has spirit (much of it running through the boots of a certain W. Zaha esq.) A true comeback win has us losing at half time. better still we bang in two late goals and the whole ground is screaming 'you're not singing anymore'. Heaven. Ps. not saying no to a 5-0 romp, natch
