Would prefer to have him for their next two games against Brighton and Hudersfield but cant have everything

He must have been doing something right because for eighty-seven minutes we couldn't put a glove on them and the moment he was gone Watford collapsed like an England middle-order.

And Watford fans are quite rightly perplexed about why he has not been selected for the England squad. Yet another oversight of a player in an unfashionable team. BTW, this site was overwhelmingly against us signing him when there was a link some time ago. As his current form testifies, we could have done a lot worse.

Cleverley was a Mazzari signing for I think £8 Mill ? I recall Alex Fergusion saying a few years back that his movement and understanding of space was really good for a young player.

Sort of - we had him on loan form last January and made the deal permanent in the summer. Midfield is our strong point and we also have Hughes and Chalobah injured as well so if they were all fit we'd have a competitive midfield area. Shame same cannot be said for elsewhere on the pitch!
