Is the latest film in Stars ' I really need to get outside and experience real life' Wars really the cultural gem that it likes to think it is, nowadays? Not so much Chewbacca..but chew the fat?

P.S: Rumour has it that Boris Johnson is the current political metaphor re: Daft Vadar (To David Davis: 'I am not your father... nor will I support you in being Prime Minister. )

Interesting criticism from someone starting an online forum topic (and one about Star Wars, at that). Hope your glass house is double-glazed during this chill.

Anyone remember Alexi Sayle " Hi, I'm Larry, I'm a Caesarian" Gold
Responsibility Deficit Disorder is a medical condition. Symptoms include inability to be corrected when wrong, false sense of superiority, desire to share personal info no else cares about, general hubris. It's a medical issue rather than pure arrogance. |

Couldn't believe the last one they brought out. Practically identical to the first one. Total fraud.

Given the thread tone, I think I can say, without trolling, that Star Wars is the most overrated major franchise ever. I always thought that the original Star Trek was for slightly more intelligent types and Star Wars was the thickies. Now they have dumbed down Star Trek so the thickies can enjoy that too. Maybe I'm trolling a little bit.

The only good thing about Star Wars is that it gave Mel Brooks the idea for Spaceballs.

Have to laugh at this again as it is brilliantly phrased and was spot on at the time. Trying to pick myself up from Brexit; Trump and then another cop out movie claiming too many headlines in ceaseless overrated franchise. Can the barrel be scraped any further in terms of selling us all out?

Star Wars : impressive graphics. annoying childish narrative-tool characters a go-go. boring story lines overly longwinded and sloppy editing in the cutting room. formulaic....each movie is from a bottle in a factory. one can only make sense of Star Wars by remembering that its for young children and is therefore nestled between the tellytubbies and fireman sam.
