They really p*ss me off and are up there with Brighton , Man U and Leicester as my most hated. For some seasons now they have targeted Cabaye and Wilf with some snidely little tackles and today they took it to a new level. Their first goal came from a corner and I had my eye on Defoe cos he always scores against us. His movement was amazing as we waited for the corner, but Jeff Schlupp stuck really tight to him following his every movement. Suddenly as the ball came across, josh King grabbed Schlupp with both arms around his waist and stopped him from following Defoe who was left free to score. I was fuming with the officials for not seeing it, but even more with sweet little Bournemouth cos it is the kind of sh*t they always do to us.

My view of the penalties was restricted so I couldn’t comment until I’ve seen replays.

Were you there? I was right by the 2nd one, personally I dont think it was a penalty I tink the defender got a touch on the ball but Wilf did not dive went down under the tackle as anyone would and I do not think he even appealed. Dont try to make out if someone goes down under a challenge it is a dive. I cant comment on the first one as was up the other end.

As a matter of interest why have you only commented on Bournemouth related threads? Obviously a Cherries fan

I have just looked at the footage on Youtube of the first goal.

It is very clear that King held Jeff Schlupp back, preventing him from moving. He clearly tried to bring it to the ref's attention, too, but to no avail.

The sooner VAR is in place the better.

On a further note, this also shows the contact between Begovic and Wilf. You need to watch it at 0.25 x speed to be see it well though.

Whatever they did, it took a Palace player to be responsible for team implosion when we had the chance to win via a penalty decision.

Nah your wrong, defo a dive and he 100% appealed for it. makes up for the ones against us though.

I think you have to draw a line between a blatant dive (ie Snodgrass) when no contact and going down under a challenge, at speed. Just seen it again dont think it was a penalty but dont think it was a dive

Cook was a scummy little player yesterday. Should have had 4 bookings. He took every opportunity to target Cabaye knowing he's a hot headed player.

That first goal was not fouling, it was cheating, which should be looked at the same way as diving as it was premeditated.

The first penalty Wilf didn't dive, but he perhaps could have stayed on his feet. The second one he was undoubtedly tripped, it's just down to the referee as to whether the defender won the ball.

In the grand scheme of things we have lost out to so many bad refereeing decisions of late that two generous penalties seems long overdue. Sadly Bournemouth got away with cheating and Bentenke lost his head.

Yes, but they're so cute and plucky and it's not like their manager is a smug-faced little cnut is it?
