VERY strongly worded, seems the club is just as unhappy as we are.

Talks of boycotting the game, which'll never happen.

This is a sell out all day, every day. Wether we had 2k or 10k!

Scoring goals for fun, and I know why..

Well done CPFC brilliant statement.
When the seaweed come to Selhurst, they should be allocated zero tickets or the very least number that we have to give them.

Their fans seem to think it was ok to lock our fans outside the stadium. Perhaps we should sell them 2000 tickets but only let 1700 in. Not forgetting to take them on a long tour of East Croydon and making them arrive late to the match.

It's 106 miles to Chicago, we got a full tank of gas, half a pack of cigarettes, it's dark... and we're wearing sunglasses.

Good statement by club.

It doesn’t say who had the final say about ticket numbers just that they have been restricted to 2000 again. Is it decided by Sussex Police? If so surely the club should launch a legal challenge to this especially following the humiliating climb down they have just had to make regards lying about evidence?

Found it quite amusing about difficulties with trains on the Sunday....since when did the authorities give a toss about fans (not criticising Palace here)

So we should have been given 4,600 tickets for an early kick off on a day when trains weren't running so all supporters could have been coached in and coached out.

No trains would have made it very difficult for drunken trouble makers to travel.

There's only one team on Sussex Police's patch. It's no surprise they treat us like s***.

In the past they've moved their way section because they are too noisy. Shat over our changing rooms. Kettled and hit innocent supporters and made up lies.

The Brighton supporting police's behaviour has simply stoked the fire of a hostile derby. I fear the atmosphere will be truly toxic and worse is to come.

Whilst writing that post I've been told that 5 of the 6 arrests were Brighton fans.

In my experience there would of been a meeting between the football intelligence officer for BHA, the football intelligence officer for CPFC, the safety officers for both clubs, British Transport Police, an FA representative and Sussex Police senior officers.

They would of gone through the history between the clubs, more specifically the recent game And the events that arose from that and any intelligence that might be available (ie informants etc)

Ultimately the decision on ticket allocation would of been made by senior officers from Sussex Police and the FA.

As for the game being another evening kick off that decision would of been made by the FA or television company, if the game is being televised.

Absolutely ridiculous decision.

Don't waste your time with jealousy. Sometimes your ahead, sometimes your behind, the race is long. But in the end it's only with yourself!!

Expect a few more of those from the ref during the game.

For the home game either make it NO AWAY FANS or collect them all at East Croydon station, march them to the ground via New Addington, arrive at Selhurst at around 8pm, then march them all back to East Croydon station without allowing them into the game..job done
