Hodgson said in his post-match interview that they had been stuck on a train that was f***ed and that this had affected the team's preparation for this match. I can well believe it; once I went to London on the West Coast and was 3 hours late going down and 4 hours coming back up. Ridiculous, HTF are you supposed to play Premier League football when you're being f***ed about like that? Maybe a phone call to the MD of the TOC along the lines of "Do you know who I am?" would have helped. I thought football teams went everywhere in a bus, though. Mentioned on BBC Radio London during their commentary this afternoon. Crap railway network we have ... too much emphasis on making high returns on too little investment. Still they would have got 25% of their extortionate fare back and a free cup of coffee in the unlikely event there was a trolley on the train!

so why did they leave it so late to go their should of gone the day before and stayed in hotel this is what other clubs do or once train broke down switch to coach. (everyone know public transport is unreliable so you have to factor in worst case backups) i can tell you now if a train breaks down you are no way going to be stuck in that thing without being able to go toilet or have a drink the law suits would be huge and asking someone i know who works on those lines they know how long it takes to fix issues so they would of been informed

Good. Poor loves on £70k a week now know what normal people have to put up with. They should have been made to get a night bus home from Euston too.

HTH.
