Things do seem to be turning our way.....but we’ve GOT to find a way to scoring more goals.

Plus which

Wet Spam have played the new manager card and drawn a turkey.
Allardyce has gone to a team that would surely have stayed up anyway and we still get our £2m.
West Brom have fired a good manager and replaced him with a well-known muppet.
The teams above us have hardly picked up a point in the time it's taken us to nearly catch them up.
Tonight three of them dropped points they could have won and the other three got spanked.

Swansea will probably go for Pulis but the problem there isn't the manager - it's the fact that they sold Gylfi and Llorente, didn't replace them, and brought in that Sanchez character who has turned out to be a dud. They probably have little funds for the coming window.

In any case it's not even impossible to stay up if you're bottom on Christmas Day - it's happened twice, West Brom years ago at our expense and Leicester the other year, when they looked dead and buried even in March and not only got out of it but won the thing the following year.

We've been alright at home at this, 8 goals in last 4 home games. Not scoring away, however, is shocking.

this. Plus Pardew going back into criticising players and demoralising them. Fantastic news.

West Ham do have a good squad but I think they're screwed - does anyone in the world have any belief that Moyes can revive them (Moyes included)?

Huddersfield will be concerned with their form, Bournemouth are under pressue, and I can see both Swansea and Stoke sacking their managers before too long. Let's hope Pulis doesn't make a return this season.

I was only saying tonight that I have envisaged Huddersfield plunging down the table in the New Year after a promising start in the manner of Blackpool and Hull.
