I have a happy memory of watching on TV the great Jeff score the winner in the 1968 FA Cup Final, shortly into extra time. The commentator (Wolstenholme? Coleman? can't remember) said something like "if only he'd done that a couple of minutes earlier!". At the time, and to this day, I never understood why both clubs changed their shirt colours for the day - do you know?

Good luck with the collection.

Good luck with Pardew.

We don't do possession; we do defense and attack. Everything else is just wa**ing with a football.

It's 106 miles to Chicago, we got a full tank of gas, half a pack of cigarettes, it's dark... and we're wearing sunglasses.

this might be why

The 1968 Cup final was the first final to be televised live in colour. Both teams wore away strips, with Everton wearing bright amber shirts and blue shorts and West Bromwich Albion in white shirts and shorts with red socks.
