Agree with Froome but it would be better renamed sports achievement of the year rather than personality...

Joshua is hot favourite

Can't understand why Farah has never won it, greatest athlete we've ever produced.

Nothing against Joshua but the heavyweight division is laughably poor and he only just beat Klitschko way past his best

I'd go Froome, AJ, Hamilton.

I think it'll be AJ, Kane, Hamilton.

Where is Owen Farrell and Maro Itoje? Kane won the golden boot and nothing else. Those two won back to back European cups, the six nations, drew a lions tour and Faz was European player of the year and both were nominated for World player of the year.

Optimistic as ever

Agreed, and in the only year he hasn't done the double I can't see him getting it this time either.

Only just beat Klitschko? 3 knockdowns and a TKO win, that's hardly scraping it on points.

What I mean is Klitschko let him off the hook, he should have finished him off, Joshua came back into it then ran out a convincing winner

The main winners last year didn’t have the greatest of 2017s (Murray, Leicester City, Ranieri). Kiss of death.

Palace since 19 August 1972. Palace 1 (Tony Taylor) Liverpool 1 (Emlyn Hughes)

If it's personality and based on more than just sporting achievement. Then Jermain Defoe deserves to be on this list for his work with Bradley Lowery. That is much more deserving then anything I can think anyone on this list has done.

As I saw somewhere yesterday.

Jermaine Defoe, the time and love he gave that young lad before he died deserves lots of credit.
