Surely we'll be above them soon! Didn't think anyone else was facing a crisis on the scale we were but I'm actually quite relaxed now, and not the greatest milestone but I can't wait to be above Everton!
Now Zaha's got a bit of green grass ahead of him here... and finds Ambrose... not a bad effort!!!! |

Their goal difference is now almost as wretched as ours (-15 Everton, -17 Palace).

Doesn't look good. If they are keeping Unsworth (which apparently it's looking like it), then I think they will go down. Absolutely shocking against a Southampton team that struggles for goals. On the Everton side of things, they conceded 17 shots (5 on target), against Soton's average of 14 shots (3 on target). That is not great - in fact, it's relegation standard. Today they conceded above their average, but it appears that average is getting worse. In their last 6 games before today, they conceded 15 or more shots in 3 of them (although one was vs Arsenal). On the Southampton side of things, they're not unable to create chances, they just can't take them for toffee (excuse the pun). Charlie Austin's first start from what I can gather, and he scored two goals today. If he can keep fit, they are a good side.

Their last two performances merely emphasise how disappointing it is that we failed to turn them over. Edited by YT (26 Nov 2017 4.02pm)

Whats happened to Wayne Rooney? He should be their talisman but instead an unused sub. Always was overrated

I'm saying it now, they are going down. A lot say that they are too good or the quality in their team will get them out when they have a manager but I don't see it. Their better players are overrated, the pacey wingers are very raw (Lookman especially), the youth aren't ready and the defence is a f***ing disaster. They created f all against us as well, few goals in them.

I"m surprised how s***e they are doing because they spent over £150m in the summer but they were stupid enough not to invest any of it on a striker who will score them goals! They are in a mess & its disappointing we didn't beat them recently when we should of. I can see us above them by Xmas although I don"t think they will go down.
